During peak season, our guests can watch the playful California sea lions perform during music-themed training sessions or seal shows.
During training, the animals constantly watch their trainers, who guide them using verbal commands and hand signals. The trainers work with the sea lions using so-called positive reinforcement, meaning they reward them with pieces of fish after each successfully completed exercise.
The seal viewing area opens 20 minutes before the show!
Training times are posted on the information board and next to the animal enclosure after you enter.
Location: To the left after the zoo entrance, in the seal viewing area.

Opening hours:
Until October 22, 2026, open only on weekends
During fall break (October 23–November 1, 2026), open daily starting at 1:00 p.m.
Our program will be on hiatus starting November 2, 2026.
