Thanks to its thick fur, it can survive temperatures as low as -50 °C. In summer, its fur is gray or brown, blending in with rocky mountain slopes or lowland vegetation, while in winter it turns white and blends perfectly into the snowy landscape.
Its ears are quite small to minimize heat loss, and its entire body is covered in thick fur.
